ART JAM 2007

The Super Rad Art Jam is presenting its second annual High School Art Exhibition to be held at Mesa Mall.  Our purpose is to promote community awareness, appreciation, and understanding of art and to perpetuate and support student’s creativity.

Eligibility:

  • Any student enrolled in a School District High School facility.
  • Work to have been completed within the past 2 years.
  • All work is to be original in concept, design and execution.
  • No work previously shown in a Super Rad Art Jam exhibition is eligible for resubmission.

Requirements:

  • Works may be in any medium.
  • All submitted entries must be ready to display.
  • Two dimensional works must be matted with a hanging device.
  • Sculptures must be dry, based and/or ready to display.
  • All submitted artwork must be accompanied with artist’s and artwork information (two per piece) and must be legible.
  • Work that does no meet these criteria will NOT be accepted for exhibition.

Sales

In the event that inquiries are made in reference to the sale of artwork, contact information will be collected from the interested party and given to the artist at the conclusion of the exhibition.  Any donations made to Super Rad on completion of a sale would be greatly appreciated.

Schedule of Events:

  • Tuesday, March 27

Submission of artwork to be dropped off between the hours of 3 and 7pm at the Mesa Mall location of the exhibition.

  • Wednesday, March 28 and Thursday, March 29

Installation of artwork.

  • Friday, March 30

Judging of the show.

  • Saturday, March 31

Exhibition opening 6pm to 9pm.
Awards and announcements 7pm to 7:30pm.

 

  • Saturday, March 31 to Friday, April 13

Open exhibition.

  • Friday, April 13

Final day of exhibition, open 11am to 7pm.
Closing Show and Awards, time and place TBA.

  • Saturday, April 14

Breakdown of exhibition from 11am to 1pm
Pick up all artworkfrom 1pm to 4pm.
